To help us prevent fraud, please be aware that we may make searches about you at credit reference agencies for the purpose of verifying your identity. These agencies will supply us with information, including information from the Electoral Register. The fact that we have requested an identity check is recorded by these agencies, though be assured that the searches will not be seen, or used by lenders to assess your ability to obtain credit.

We will use the information you provide only for the following purposes:

1: To send updates regarding the status of your orders.
2: To send you newsletters and details of offers and promotions in which we believe you will be interested.
3:To improve the content, design and layout of the Cable and Crimping Services shop website and to facilitate knowledge management.
4: To understand the interests and buying behaviour of our registered users.
5: To perform other such general marketing and promotional activities focused on our products and services.

Other links within this site to other websites or framed third party sites within Cable and Crimping Services websites are not covered by this policy.

We may continue to use your personal information for a period after you cease being a registered user.

Principle 2 - Consent and Choice

If you choose not to register or not provide personal information, you may still visit the Cable and Crimping Services websites but you will not be able to access the restricted areas available to registered users. By completing the registration process, you accept the Terms and Conditions described and consent to our using your information accordingly.

Principle 3 - Access

We have provided an administration service (your account) where you can review your personal information at any time to ensure it is correct and current. You have the right to ask for a copy of your personal information on payment of a small fee.

Principle 4 - Security

We have taken appropriate measures to ensure that your personal information is not unlawfully processed. We uses industry standard practices to safeguard the confidentiality of your personal identifiable information, including "firewalls" and Secure Socket Layers. Cable and Crimping Services treats data as an asset that must be protected against loss and unauthorized access.  However, no information transferred over the Internet or wireless network can be guaranteed to be completely secure. We employ many different security techniques to protect such data from unauthorised access by users inside and outside the company.

We will not be transferring your personal information outside of the European Economic Area unless otherwise specifically advised.

Returns Policy

  • In the case of damaged or faulty goods, a full refund will be issued or a replacement provided for the faulty item(s). All claims must be made within 5 days of delivery. No claims can be considered after 5 days.
  • Under the United Kingdom's Distance Selling Regulations, you have the right to cancel the contract for the purchase of any item within a period of 7 working days, beginning with the day after the day on which the item is delivered. We are unable to accept cancellations of contracts for the purchase of any goods unless they are returned to us in a resaleable condition.
  • Please note that we are unable to accept cancellation of, or returns for, custom-made items, except where the goods are faulty or damaged when they are delivered to you.
  • To cancel a contract, please pack the relevant item(s) securely and send it to us with the delivery slip so that we receive it within 7 working days after the day of the date that the item was delivered to you. For your protection, we recommend that you use a recorded-delivery service.
  • Please note that you will be responsible for the costs of returning the goods to us unless we delivered the item to you in error or the item is damaged or faulty. Please also note that in such cases delivery charges are non-refundable, and that a fee will be payable equal to 25% of your order subtotal. This will enable us to cover the cost of restocking the returned item(s).
  • As soon as we receive notice of your cancellation of an order, we will refund the relevant part of the purchase price for that item.
  • Many of the products are delivered to your door by a carrier. If no-one is in when the carrier calls a card will be left asking you to contact them at their local depot. You can then arrange for another delivery date with the carrier direct. If no contact is made within 14 days, parcels will be returned and an additional charged will be raised for the items to be re-sent.
